Shoreline low tide count river Avon to Portishead Pill this morning: 65 Shelduck, 171 Teal, 45 Wigeon, 17 Mallard, 4 Oystercatcher, 8 Ringed Plover, 39 Dunlin, 19 Curlew, 34 Redshank, 242 Black-headed Gull, 10 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 36 Herring Gull and 1 Great Black-backed Gull (S Hale).
PORTBURY WHARF POOLS:
7 Mute Swan, 14 Canada Goose, 3 Shelduck, 28 Wigeon, 11 Gadwall, 3 Teal, 8 Mallard, 6 Shoveler, 8 Pochard, 11 Tufted Duck, 4 Little Grebe, 18 Coot, 6 Moorhen, 40 Lapwing, 4 Black-headed Gull and 11 Herring Gull, most on the pools closest to the sewage farm (S Hale).
