Clifton: 15 Waxwings seen in Mornington Rd 1pm (AD Scott). near St John's school and houses in Wellington Park.
If only it were Mornington Crescent..........
OLDBURY POWER STATION:
28 Shelduck, 6 Oystercatcher, single Ringed Plover, 2 Grey Plover, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 15 Curlew, 15 Turnstone, 1,000 Black-headed Gull and an adult Yellow-legged Gull (yacht club) (per opsbirding).
SEVERNSIDE:
New Passage shore: 180 Wigeon, 40 Teal, 150 Dunlin, single Black-tailed Godwit, 2 bar-tailed Godwit, 70 Curlew, 20 Redshank and 60 Turnstone.

Severn Beach shore: 50 Shelduck, 70 Oystercatcher, 20 Curlew, 50 Turnstone, a Water Pipit, 4 Rock Pipit and a flyover Redpoll.
SB garden: a Treecreeper in the webmaster's garden (where else!).
SB Orchard pools: the Bittern again a Kingfisher and a Coal Tit (all per severnsidebirds).
PORTBURY WHARF:
At the chapel pill section and salt-marsh late afternoon: 10 Ringed Plover, 2 Avocets, a Stonechat and 4 Bullfinch (I Duncan).
Now if only those Avocets could find their way over onto the newly flattened island at the pool.......
ABBOTS LEIGH:
3 Tawny Owls calling this evening, Sandy lane area, also on 10th and 11th (A Rhodes).
BARROW TANKS:
3 Gadwall, 30 Teal, 17 Shoveler, 9 Goldeneye, just 6 Lapwing and 2 Great Black-backed Gull (CJ Stone).
BLAGDON LAKE:
Today's WeBS highlights: 56 Canada Goose, 44 Wigeon, 62 Teal, 112 Mallard, 11 Shoveler, 316 Pochard, 261 Tufted Duck, 4 Scaup, 24 Goldeneye, 5 Goosander, a 'redhead' Smew, 10 Great Crested Grebe, 52 Cormorant, 208 Coot, 2,034 Black-headed Gull and 23 Common Gull* (per BL birds).
* 443 here yesterday.
