BRISTOL:
Filton: 2 flyover Ravens at the MOD centre mid-day (J Cumming).
Redland: 15 Waxwing near the railway station (Lover's Walk) at 12.15pm (D Stoddard).
SEVERN BEACH:
A Bittern was seen again at the orchard pool in the afternoon, presumably the same bird as first seen here on 23 January. A Kingfisher here also of note. Not much else on the patch today (per severnsidebirds)
PORTBURY WHARF:

A Mediterranean Gull present on the main pool this morning (S Hale).
An increasing number of gulls have been using the pool recently since the island was flattened, especially large gulls coming in for an afternoon wash.

Highlights from yesterday: 62 Shelduck, 80 Teal, 200 Lapwing, 100+ Dunlin, 17 Curlew, 160+ Redshank, 1 Water Pipit, a Rock Pipit and 2 Reed Bunting (J Martin).

The Purple Sandpipers were not seen today.
