A Dipper on the stream north of the Mill today (A Jordan).
YATE:
The Dipper present again on the river Frome at Quarry Rd bridge (D Pearce). A Goldcrest and a Treecreeper also nearby.
OLDBURY POWER STATION:
5 Canada Goose, 2 Oystercatcher, c.200 Dunlin, c.200 Curlew, 20 Redshank and 60+ Lesser Black-backed Gull on the move. Overhead, 53+ Siskin to NE early on (per opsbirding).
SEVERNSIDE:
Combined totals from the New Passage-Northwick-Severn Beach sites as follows:
1 Barnacle Goose, 75 Shelduck, 80 Wigeon, a Gadwall, 40 Teal, 2 Shoveler, a ♂ Merlin, a Water Rail (garden), 35 Oystercatcher, 1 Lapwing, 460 Dunlin, 1 Snipe, 65 Curlew, 65 Redshank, 41 Turnstone, 3 Rock Pipit, 11 Pied Wagtail, 4 Raven, and 12 flyover Siskin (per severnsidebirds).
LEIGH WOODS:

Little change, 29 Teal, 9 Goldeneye and a Brambling (CJ Stone).
BLAGDON LAKE:
The Sand Martin still present (arrived yesterday) (per BL birds).
CHEW VALLEY LAKE:
The Kumlien's Gull present in the roost off Nunnery 5.25pm this evening. Also around the lake, the White-fronted Goose and the 1st winter Scaup (G Jones).
BREAN DOWN:
2 ♂ Stonechat of note (per westonbirds).
