Blaise woods: a Marsh Tit pair at the Mill area today (W Earp).
ALMONDSBURY:
Lower Knole Farm: 3 Grasshopper Warbler and 6 Redpoll feeding in trees early am (M Dadds).
SEVERNSIDE:
A bit of a lull, highlights today were a new Little Ringed Plover and 3 Wheatear (per severnsidebirds).
HAM GREEN:
river Avon: 136 Redshank, 2 Greenshank and 2 Raven at the nest feeding young (R Hawley).
FLAX BOURTON:
A Grasshopper Warbler reeling on the cycle track to Farleigh Green (G Jones).
CLEVEDON COAST:
Blake's pool: not hectic, just 20 Teal, a Little Egret and 2 Reed Warbler (J Martin).
ANCHOR HEAD (W-s-M):
A Gannet and a Great Skua upchannel 8.30am (per westonbirds). Our first Skua of the spring.
