Lower Woods (south Glos) April 2011

Club member Andy Jordan has been birding in Lower Woods recently and sent us these photos.

Plenty of the common woodland species on show and of particular note were 5+ Garden Warblers and 4 singing Nightingales.

Lower Woods is our best local spot for Willow Tit, they have been recorded here several times over the past few years and most recently on 20 April by Phil Baber.
