Fishponds: a singing Sedge Warbler on the Lodge Causeway 9am this morning, not far from yesterday's Reed Warbler (L Wheatland).
Redland: a Reed Warbler singing its head off in the observers' garden all day (AD Scott).
OLDBURY POWER STATION:
A Hobby around the site 4pm (W King).
SEVERNSIDE:
Patch totals of the migrant/passage birds:; 2 Ringed Plover, a Sanderling, 4 Bar-tailed Godwit, 3 Whimbrel, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Cuckoo, 7 Wheatear, 2 Yellow Wagtail and 1 Tree Pipt (per severnsidebirds).
Also of note, 2 Common Scoter (pair) and 24 Common Gull, 2cy birds (B Lancastle).
PORTBURY DOCK:
A Spotted Flycatcher here today, our first of the spring (CJ Stone).
PORTBURY WHARF:
Pools: Common Sandpiper new in and 9 Great Black-backed Gull.
3 Canada Goose goslings hatched today. Has bred here every year since the pools were created in 2005.
Shoreline: 2 Grey Plover, 15 Dunlin and 6 Whimbrel (CJ Stone).
WALTON-in-GORDANO:
A Red Kite feeding on a kill on track off Moor Lane 2pm (P Chapman). Superb views.
CLEVEDON COAST:
A lean spell after the recent excitement, highlights: were 8 Grey Plover, a Curlew Sandpiper, just 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 32 Whimbrel, 2 Greenshank, a Yellow Wagtail and 5 Wheatear (HE Rose).

The evening visit also produced Buzzard, Kestrel, Hobby, 1 Black Tern, Cuckoo and 2 Yellow Wagtail.
Radstock 4/5/11:
A churring Nightjar at Haydon Hill (D French). The bird has been present since late April apparently.
